Meet the Owner + Principal Writer/Editor

Perdita B. Spriggs is a seasoned communications strategist and writer with extensive experience shaping messaging for government, business, universities, and nonprofit organizations. She has led internal and external communications for national federal teams, advancing employee engagement, executive visibility, and public understanding through clear, purposeful writing.

Perdita's background includes extensive work in conservation and forestry science, where she translated complex research into accessible, audience-focused communication for scientists, partners, and the public. In the private sector, she has collaborated with Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine leadership on thought articles, developed website content for a former NFL athlete’s nonprofit, and highlighted groundbreaking research for The V Foundation for Cancer Research.

A Hampton University graduate with a B.A. in English, Perdita also completed professional writing studies at Old Dominion University and holds a technical communications certificate from Duke University. She brings a rare combination of analytical skill, creative insight, and authenticity to every project and crafts content that helps clients connect with clarity, purpose, and impact.

When she’s not writing, you’ll find Perdita recharging outdoors on a hiking trail, enjoying yoga after a good workout, or relaxing with smooth jazz and a cup of tea—her favorite way to find balance before the next great idea takes shape.
